Wire Flower & Leaf Stems Workshop - Sunday 5th October 2025

Join guest tutor and artist Laura Milne, for a wirework workshop. You will have the option of making either a display of flower & leaf stems to display at home in a vase or bottle, or a beautiful display in a box frame.

You will learn different sculpture techniques using wire including joining and tool knowledge to basic/medium levels. If you decide to make the smaller framed display, you will be shown how to finish by setting your pieces in a box frame ready to display at home.

There will be samples available at the workshop to help you decide which display you would like to make. No experience is necessary, just come along for a fun workshop and learn a new skill that you will be able to take away to create more at home!

Suitable for beginners, minimum age 16+.

Artist Bio.
Laura is a wire artist creating pieces inspired by the natural world often captured in her photography taken on walks. With her love of flowers she will sometimes combine her wirework with driftwood or crystals. Her work ranges from decorative pieces to one-off commissions. Using her skills learnt throughout a varied art/teaching career she loves to share this passion with others.

Cost: £60 per person to include wire, use of tools, tea & coffee. A box frame is also supplied if making the smaller display of alliums and foliage.
