Wire Flower & Leaf Stems Workshop - Sunday 29th March 2025

In this workshop you will learn different sculpture techniques using wire including joining and tool knowledge to basic/medium levels.

After receiving various demos and guidance with planning you will sculpt using tools to create 4 different types of foliage and 2-4 focus flowers.

Laura will guide you from start to finish to create a beautiful arrangement to take home. No experience is necessary, just come along for a fun day and learn a new skill that you will be able to take away and create more!

Suitable for beginners, minimum age 16+.

Cost: £60 to include all materials, tea & coffee.
Bring: lunch and a narrow top vase/bottle is handy if you have one for holding your pieces as you make them.

Artist Bio.
Laura is a wire artist creating pieces inspired by the natural world often captured in her photography taken on walks. With her love of flowers she will sometimes combine her wirework with driftwood or crystals. Her work ranges from decorative pieces to one-off commissions and using her skills learnt throughout a varied art/teaching career she loves to share this passion with others.

NOTE: the Craft Barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
