Get festive this Christmas at our Wire Art Wreath workshop. This workshop was very popular last year and delighted to be running it again.

Join guest tutor, artist Laura Milne, and learn how to make simple Christmas foliage with wire and add beads for a pop of colour. You’ll also have the option of adding festive wire lettering to your wreath.

In this workshop you will learn different sculpture techniques using wire including joining and tool knowledge to basic/medium levels.

No experience is necessary just come along and learn a creative new skill!

Suitable for beginners, minimum age 16+.

Cost: £60 per person to include all materials, use of tools, tea & coffee. Please bring lunch

Artist Bio.
Laura is a wire artist creating pieces inspired by the natural world in particular flowers. She makes a selection of wire sculptures, some in box frames where they are combined with driftwood or crystals. Her work ranges from decorative pieces to one off commissions. Laura loves to take long walks in the countryside capturing the next inspiration through photography, then returns to the desk to begin drawing and planning her next pieces using the skills she has learnt throughout a varied art/teaching career.

NOTE: The Craft Barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
