Join us for a day of making, learning and creativity. At this workshop you will learn how to make and finish your own sterling silver jewellery. You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting and will leave at the end of the day with a set of Spinner Rings or Stacking Rings.

Have you ever wanted to make your own silver jewellery?

Join Fiona from Jewellery Moves for a day of making, learning and creativity. At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver jewellery. You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting.

You will leave at the end of the day with either 2 Spinner Rings or a set of 3 Stacking Rings.

About Jewellery Moves:
Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Minimum age is 14+, children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a participating adult who has booked a place.

Cost: £75 - includes use of tools, tea and coffee. The cost of the silver is not included in the workshop fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £30/£40 and payable to the tutor on the day (card accepted).

Please bring: lunch, make sure that your hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them.

NOTE: the Craft Barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and unfortunately may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
