Silver Jewellery with Sea Glass & Sea Pottery - Thursday 9th January 2025

At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver jewellery. You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting and set pieces of sea glass or pottery within a ring and/or pendant.

About Jewellery Moves:
Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. Minimum age is 14+, children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a participating adult who has booked a place.

Cost: £75 – includes tuition, use of tools, tea & coffee and biscuits.
Materials: The cost of materials is not included in the workshop fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £40/£50 and payable to the tutor on the day (card or cash). You are welcome to bring your own Sea Glass or Pottery but please note not all pieces will be suitable to set.

What to bring: A packed lunch, make sure that hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them.
