Full Event Information

Join guest tutor Jo Richards of Faye Benjamin Jewellery for a half-day workshop giving you an Introduction to Silver Clay to make your own solid silver pendant or pair of earrings.

With a few simple techniques, you can turn Silver Clay from a squishy little lump into solid silver jewellery. It really is amazing!

There will be plenty of time to explore the material, get tips and advice to cut, shape and texture your piece. Your work will be fired and finished during the session so you can take (or wear) your creation home with pride!

This workshop is suitable for beginners aged 14+, under 16 years must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Cost: £45 includes tea & coffee and biscuits. The cost of 5g of silver clay is £25 and payable to the tutor on the day.
If you would like to finish your piece with a chain (you can bring your own), or ear wires there will be a selection available to buy.

Please bring: a sturdy pair of shoes (no open toes), have longer hair tied back and don’t wear trailing scarves or anything fluffy as they are attracted to clay!

Customer cancellation deadline: 2nd February
