Pyrography Beginners Workshop - Friday 31st January 2025

Join guest tutor Sharon of Maybug Studio for a beginner's workshop in Pyrography.

Sharon is known to Lechlade Craft Barn regulars for her popular stained glass workshops and as an accomplished Pyrogapher loves to pass on her skills.

You will be using a changeable wire tip pyrography pen which gives a finer, more detailed picture compared to the solid tip style pen.

You will learn different techniques with different tips to give different effects on your final piece. You will learn which woods to use (and more importantly which not to use), the preparation of the wood and how to finish once your design is completed.

There will be plenty of inspiration on the day to help you with your design and the best bit, you don't need to be able to draw!

Each class will have a maximum of 6 participants which will give plenty of time for individual attention.

Cost £70 to include all materials, tea & coffee. Please bring lunch.
All materials and use of equipment is included on the day; however, if you will like an upgraded piece of wood to use, these are available at an extra cost on the day.
