Mosaic in a Frame Workshop - Saturday 23rd November 2024

Join us for this new mosaic workshop and have a fun day creating a contemporary piece of mosaic artwork.

This workshop is suitable for beginners and those with some experience wishing to create something new.

You will be using slate, stone, glass nuggets, ceramic tiles and shapes. Select the materials you wish to use, plan out your mosaic, learn how to cut your pieces, and try different designs. Once you are happy with your final design you will be ready to mix the adhesive and fix everything in place.

After leaving the adhesive to dry you will be ready to place your mosaic in a box frame to showcase your masterpiece.

Minimum age 14+ years – children under 16 years must be accompanied by a participating adult.

Cost: £55 includes all materials, frame, tea & coffee

Please bring: lunch and an apron

NOTE: the craft barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and therefore may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues. The toilet is located in another building.
