Full Event Information

Lighting is so important for creating a welcoming atmosphere, so what better than to make a beautiful lampshade for any room in your home that reflects your own taste and creativity.

Come along to this no-sew workshop and learn extra hints and tips for a lovely professional finish.

Bring your own choice of fabric to match the room you are making it for. Don't worry if you forget or haven't got any, you are welcome to delve into our reasonably priced fabric stash.

The lampshade you will be making can be used for a ceiling light or lamp base. See below for more details and upgrades.

£40 per person includes tea & coffee, all lampshade making components except the outer fabric to make either a 20cm or 30cm Drum lampshade. Any fabric is suitable provided it is light to medium weight, avoid heavy textures, anything stretchy, velvets and heavy embroidery.

Lampshade sizes (1/2 metre of fabric required) -
- 20cm drum
- 30cm drum

Upgrade on the day for an extra £10 to:
- 40cm drum lampshade (for ceiling pendant, lamp base or floor lamp)
- 45cm drum lampshade (for ceiling pendant, lamp base or floor lamp)
- both these sizes require 1.5m of fabric. Please ensure any directional pattern works when turned sideways as you'll be using the length of the fabric to make the shade.

There are samples made up of each size to help you choose your size. Kits are available should you wish to make more at home.

Customer cancellation deadline: 17th October
