Lighting is so important for creating a welcoming atmosphere, so what better than to make a beautiful lampshade for any room in your home that reflects your own tastes and creativity.

Learn how to make either a 20cm or 30cm drum lampshade from start to finish. We will be using a lampshade making kit with a few extra hints and tips for a lovely professional finish.

This is a no-sew workshop and ideal for adding a lampshade to your home to match your decor.

There are samples made up of each size so if you are uncertain of which size to make, you can choose on the day. Both sizes are suitable for a celing light or table lamp.

Cost: £40 - includes tea & coffee, biscuits, all lampshade making components except outer fabric.

Please bring: 1/2 metre of fabric provided it is light to medium weight, such as cotton, linen or a cotton blend. Avoid heavy textures, velvet, stretchy, silk or heavily embellished fabrics. We do have a small selection of reasonably priced fabrics to purchase.

There will be kits available if you wish to make more at home.
