Follow the theme of Land & Sea – or Abstract Freestyle – it’s your choice!

Full tuition is given by tutor Janet and a variety of in-theme stencils are available for your use to inspire your personal design.

What you will achieve:
• How to use the basic tools of A5 size acrylic monoprinting on a minimum of 2 types of paper.
• How to layer shapes, masks and stencils to achieve more complex colours and patterns
• Create multiple monoprints.
• Choose from a selection of stencils, which are people and animal or abstract themed, to create a base outline for your unique collage. Alternatively, create your own, stencil-free, design for your collaged final piece.
• Using the collage papers you created in the morning, complete your collage in either a cut or torn style.
• Sign, seal and frame your best piece of the day.

Carry home your personally printed remaining collage papers, and your framed best work of the day.

As you will be working with quality acrylic paints and matt medium, it is recommended that you bring your own craft gloves and an apron.

Cost: £80 to include all materials plus one A5 frame, tea & coffee, and biscuits.

NOTE: The Craft Barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
