Full Event Information

Some of you may have attended one of Emma’s workshops here using her beautiful preserved botanicals in Resin.

At our new workshop, you will learn how to preserve botanicals to retain their natural colour and create lovely artwork in a frame bringing nature indoors.

Spend the morning creating artwork with foraged or homegrown pressed flowers by Emma at her home in Gloucestershire. Working within a hanging or freestanding frame (brass/gold) various shapes such as rectangles, hexagons or make two smaller square/rectangular shape pieces to take home and hang on your wall, pop in your craft area or perhaps gift.

Time permitting you may also create a floral pressed card for yourself.

During the afternoon select your botanicals that Emma has responsibly foraged from her garden or surrounding area, learning how to preserve them to their best natural self and explore how to use your press.

These stunning flower presses are handmade here in the UK by a small company and are Maple veneered FSC board. Emma will provide you with spare paper and information on how to check on your press after the workshop, and learn how to switch out the paper during the drying process to get the best from your blooms.

Emma has sourced the flower presses for durability and quality and they are yours to keep and reuse!

Cost: £90 to include all materials, frames and flower press, tea, coffee & biscuits. Please bring your own lunch.

Customer cancellation deadline: 18th April
