Inspiration for Creative Writing NEW! Workshop - Wednesday 17th July 2024

Taught by Sandra Dennis, graduate of Oxford Brookes University (MA Creative Writing) and published author, you will learn how to take inspiration from everyday objects and turn them into stories of any genre.

During the workshop, Sandra’s ‘Writer’s Toolbox’ will help even beginners to get started, so by the time you leave you will have embarked on your own short story.

You will read examples from writers, such as C.S. Lewis, on how they found inspiration in the world around them, you will be given guidance on how to plan a short story, and will be provided with time to write creatively.

Pens and paper will be provided, but please bring your own laptops/iPads if you wish to use them for writing.
Please note there is no WiFi at this venue, but it is not needed for the workshop.

We welcome beginners and those with more writing experience. Age: 16+

Cost £55.00, includes tuition, pens, paper, tea and coffee.
Please bring: glasses if you wear them
