Using the Tiffany method of copper foiling, learn the process from start to finish to make a beautiful stained glass lantern.

Join guest tutor Sharon Pritchard of Maybug Studio for a relaxed, fun and friendly workshop in the creative space at the Craft Barn. The group will be small with a maximum of 6 places and is suitable for beginners and those with some experience looking to improve their skills further.

With the Tiffany method of copper foiling, you will learn to cut glass accurately to fit into the panels, apply copper foil, solder together and polish to finish. You will make 2 panels in a design from a selection provided by Sharon.

Note: Customers must wear closed-toe shoes, you will be using sharp tools and hot soldering irons. For these reasons, there is an age limit of over 18s only and is not suitable for pregnant women due to the lead based solder used.

£75 – includes tea & coffee, please bring lunch. There will be an extra cost to the tutor on the day of £20 - £25 to cover materials depending on the design you make.
