Join guest tutor, artist Laura Milne, for her new Allium workshop.

In this workshop. you will learn different sculpture techniques using wire including joining and tool knowledge to basic/medium levels.

You will create beautiful wire Alliums with the options of setting them in a frame or creating stems for a vase of your choice. You will learn how to create Alliums large or small with complimentary foliage.

No experience is necessary just come along and learn a creative new skill!

Suitable for beginners, minimum age 16+.

Artist Bio.
I am a wire artist creating pieces inspired by the natural world in particular flowers. I make a selection of wire sculptures in box frames where I like to combine them with driftwood or crystals. My work ranges from decorative pieces to one off commissions. I love to take long walks in the countryside capturing the next inspiration through photography, then back to the desk to begin drawing and planning my next piece. Using the skills I’ve learnt throughout a varied art/teaching career I like to achieve fluid and minimal designs celebrating natural forms in its purist way through wire.

Cost: £50 per person to include wire, use of tools, tea & coffee.
