Join new tutor Kelly who will guide you through how to make a big beautiful poinsettia flower that will look beautiful on top of any Christmas cake.

Christmas wouldn't be Christmas without the big beautiful red poinsettia, come along and learn how to make your very own poinsettia flower out of sugar paste using a variety of techniques.

In this workshop you will:
• Work with flower paste
• Create flowers, buds, berries and leaves, softening, veining and colouring
• Create wired flowers
• Use colours, gel, powders and lustres
• Finish and set the flowers
• Arrange and tape flowers and leaves to create sprays or arrangements.
• Learn how to use specialist tools, cutters and moulds

Your beautiful Poinsettia is not just for one Christmas. You'll also learn how to store your work so that it can last for years and be used as a decoration over and over again.

Time permitting you will also learn how to make other Christmas themed items such as nuts berries and the traditional Holly and Ivy.

Cost £80 to include all materials, tea & coffee.
Please bring an apron and lunch.
