Silver Jewellery with Sea Glass & Sea Pottery - Thursday 6th March 2025

10am - 4pm, March 6, 2025

Lechlade Craft Barn, Orchard House South, Downington, Lechlade, Gloucestershire GL7 3DL

At this workshop you will learn how to saw, solder, file, hammer, hand-stamp and finish your own sterling silver jewellery.

You will also learn how to make your own bezel setting and set pieces of sea glass or pottery within a ring, pendant or earrings.

This workshop is suitable for beginners. The minimum age is 14+ and children 16 years and under must be accompanied by a participating adult who also has booked a place.

Cost: £75 – includes tuition, use of tools, tea & coffee, and biscuits.
Materials: The cost of materials is not included in the workshop fees. The approximate cost of these materials is £40/£50 and payable to the tutor on the day. You are welcome to bring your own Sea Glass or Pottery but please note not all pieces will be suitable to set.

What to bring: lunch, make sure that hair is tied back and bring your glasses if you wear them.

Taught by Fiona Dowling, a graduate of the Royal College of Art, Jewellery Moves workshops aim to teach traditional craftsmanship, jewellery skills and techniques in small groups with a relaxed atmosphere.

NOTE: the craft barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
