Lino Cutting & Printing with a Christmas Twist - Thursday 2nd November

Lino Cutting is great fun and suitable for all ages. Come and create your own design, experiment with colour and print your own Christmas cards and decorations.

Lino Cutting is very popular and often a way to get started in printmaking. It will bring back those potato printing memories we did as a child. You’ll walk away from this workshop with the knowledge and confidence to continue printing at home.

During this workshop, Heather will guide you to design, cut and print from your own A5 block. You will learn how to transfer your design onto a sheet of Lino and how to safely cut your design. You will be shown several ways of how to print and using your design you will print on to sample pieces, greeting cards, wooden hearts or a tote bag. Heather will also be bringing her Victorian press for you to try.

Level: Beginners - minimum age 14 years, children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult who also has a place booked.

Cost £65 to include all materials, tea and coffee. Please bring an apron and lunch.
