Full Event Information

Many of us choose to wear a red poppy during November for Remembrance Day to show our respect for those who died during the First World War and subsequent conflicts. There are other colours too - white, purple and even black that all have different meanings.

There is nothing better than something handmade with love. Come and learn how to crochet your own poppy and make as many as you like. They are quick and easy and you'll want to make more at home for friends and family, or even for a beautiful display.

NOTE: You must have some basic crochet knowledge to attend this workshop - NOT suitable for a complete beginner.

Cost: £15 per person to include wool, tea & coffee - profits from this workshop will be donated to the Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal.
Please bring: a 4mm & 5mm crochet hook, there will be a few available to use if you don't have them.

Cancellation deadline: 7th October

NOTE the craft barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and unfortunately may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
