Full Event Information

Working with non toxic cruelty free resin you will create a unique botanical pendant alongside a trinket dish to store it in with your tutor Emma from Nature’s Inspiration.

During this 3 hour workshop you’ll learn how to explore the complex medium of resin and working with botanicals to create your very own jewellery and trinket dish. For your trinket dish choose either a heart, square or flower shape.

All jewellery is silver or gold plated on a non-allergenic base metal. Nitrile gloves and all materials are provided.

Do note that as resin takes time to cure you will need to collect your creations when Karen lets you know they are ready after your workshop. These can also be posted to you for a small fee.

This workshop is suitable for beginners with a minimum age of 14 years. Children under 16 years must be accompanied by a participating adult who has a booked place.

Cancellations deadline: 20th October

Cost: £80 to includes all materials, tea & coffee. Please bring lunch and an apron.

About the tutor:
Nature's Inspiration was created by Emma during the first lockdown in 2020 when she was furloughed and rediscovering her love of nature, gardening, photography and crafting.

Emma now grows most of her own flowers, forages as locally as possible whilst following the countryside code and then hand presses them herself. She only works with vegan non-toxic resin produced by a local company in Cheltenham who are 100% carbon neutral. They use compostable packing peanuts which she reuses in large orders, biodegradable bags and the plastic resin bottles are HDPE plastic which can be recycled locally.

Emma uses biodegradable posting bags when the weather is a little unpredictable and FSC approved already recycled from responsible sources kraft cardboard large letter boxes, paper tape, tissue paper and shredded brown packing paper that are all recycled, and branded stickers which are made from 100% recycled materials and are 100% recyclable. All packaging used is carefully chosen and her business cards are printed on wildflower seed paper - a gift of nature from her to you.

Emma is extremely passionate about protecting our environment and being as sustainable as possible with her ethically sourced materials, great quality products and service whilst not damaging the environment.

NOTE: the Craft Barn is accessed via external stone steps with handrails and unfortunately may not be suitable for anyone with mobility issues.
