Full Event Information

Spend the day immersing yourself in learning a new skill with guest tutor Jo Richards of Faye Benjamin Jewellery. This workshop is suitable for beginners and will give you an Introduction to Silver Clay.

You will have plenty of time to explore the material, get tips and advice, and create your own pieces of jewellery. Silver Clay can be cut, shaped and textured with ease – a wonderful way to create your own unique pendant, charm or drop earrings – depending on the size of your pieces there is usually enough for more than one go! Make a pendant or two, or a pendant and a pair of drop earrings, some people will make bracelet charms – the choice is yours!

There will be lots of textures and cutter shapes available. To ensure there is a Spring sparkle, you will also learn to set a cubic zirconia in one of your pieces.

With a few simple techniques, in just one day, you can turn Silver Clay from a squishy little lump into solid silver jewellery and have something beautiful to take home. It really is amazing!

The skills you learn in this workshop will enable you to continue creating after you leave – the tutor will have starter kits available to purchase if you wish to make more at home.

Cost: £75 to include tuition, use of equipment, tea & coffee. There will be an additional cost of £22 for materials on the day payable to the tutor.
If you would like to finish your piece with a chain (you can bring your own), ear wires or bracelet there will be a selection available to buy.

Cancellation deadline: 7th March
